Welcome!      Next General Club Meeting 7:30pm 2nd August 2010 at Moreton Bay Sports Club

Tingalpa Model Aero Club Inc. (TMAC) is one of Australia’s largest clubs for radio controlled model aircraft, with annual membership averaging 230 members.

The club’s flying facility is 7 hectares in size, featuring a well maintained 150m grass runway, separate hovering area for R/C helicopters, covered pit area and a transmitter pound.

2008 marks 40 years of model aircrafts flying at Porter Field, the home of TMAC just next to the Minnippi Parklands, a brief of the history of the club can be found at the following link. (TMAC-a brief history)

Note: The schedule of rates has been approved with the building fund motion held at the June 7 Meeting at Moreton Bay Sports Club.

Construction will be happening this week in the pit area to dig trenches so please keep clear at all times.

  So you think you're interested in learning to fly model aircraft, why not book a lesson with a club instructor, all equipment is supplied by the instructor so all students are taught on a buddy-box system which means the instructor is always in control with safety maintained at all times.
