The top dressing of the strip and adjacent areas took place today between 6.30 am and 2.30 pm.

All we need now is some rain. The top dressing is brushed well into the grass and root systems.

It will not be necessary to close the area to flying activities.

There is a Heliday Fun Fly event on Sunday and any activities over and above this will probably will not do any more harm.

If we get rain in the next week or so it will greatly speed up the regrowth process.

Marco is watering the area by sprinkler tonight so this should assist in the re-establishment of the surface.

The one negative in using the field right now is a potential problem of dust. Just keep this in mind.
