Unfortunately the cold weather convinced many members to remain indoors this morning despite the blue skies & no wind. Ray Perin, Kevin Dodd flew some interesting electric birds, Geoff Tickle also made another Dinosaur plane to fly but due to ill health had a proxy pilot, namely Kevin Dodd to try & get his creation flying.

With only a few planes entered this year the good weather meant there was no holding back the masses to the flight line, the skies were soon full with the Sunday flyers.

Many thanks to Kevin & Nann Dodd for helping run the Unusual Models day morning for all who attended. Thanks to Dave Walker for preparing the field for all to enjoy.

To all the members who are yet to attend the field during the new bunker construction, please keep clear of all the work area & please keep family members clear also.

There will be some trench works happening at the field this week, 19th July through till 25th July so please try to keep the eastern end when workers are digging.
