Authentic Warbirds Day 15th March 2009

The first event of 2009 was a huge success with both attendance & a fine day after recent wet weather across the whole state.

Congratulations must go to Gregor Kruberg for such a successful day from the field preparation by Dave Walker to the fantastic BBQ with Glenn Crossley & crew cooking over 16kg of sausages throughout the day.

The Southern Cross Air Force was well represented with the sky full of aircraft from both WW1/WW2 & beyond, there were scale bi-planes right through to a modern F18 Hornet turbine jet.

To all members & guests who attended the day, thank you for attending the first event of 2009, we look forward to seeing you again at the next event, 19th April 2009 for the electric day.
