Dave Walker

Dave is well known at Porter Field as one of the club's most prolific photographers. What is less known is that while most of us are getting out of bed, Dave can often be found at the field mowing the grounds and marking the lines. (He says he has nowhere else to go)

He has been a member of the club for around 4 years and most of his enjoyment comes from his Helis and gliders.

As far as new projects go, Dave states that all his planes are current projects, and if you have seen his handiwork, you will know that he enjoys finishing a model off well.

Among his current fleet are a Spirit glider, 2 helis and a mustang (yet to be flown). He lists the P-38, Catalina and Tiger Moth as his most favourite aircraft.

Dave says his most memorable/embarrasing moment was crashing his heli while being filmed by Dr "O".

When he's not flying, Dave works for Landmark helping young people and teens realise their full potential.

Dave is always on hand at TMAC events and is one of the genuinely nice guys at the club.
