Wil Sipma

Will is probably best known for his monthly input at the meetings, and may seem at first to be a man with a short temper, but when you get to know him he's a genuinely nice guy.

He has been enjoying modelling for 25 years and his favourite aircraft is his Quickie.

While he isn't working on any new projects at the moment, he is busy rebuilding his Quickie which suffered some damage during a landing recently.

Among his fleet of models are his Stamp, Brown's B1, Zero, Waco and Chipmunk.

Will's most memorable moment was the 1995 TMAC Mini Airshow, which he says was one of the best the club has ever held.

When he's not building aircraft, Will likes to head out to the water for some boating and a little fishing.

Will has worked on the committee and held the office of President. He is a very active member and has been responsible for some of the hard yakka at the field (digging trenches for irrigation, installing windsocks, upkeep of the windmill etc)
